Returning to MVSD

It has been seven years since my previous tenure in the MVSD. I am so excited to begin my MVSD journey anew. The first few months as the superintendent of SAU #46 has been an incredibly positive experience. The parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and Board members that I have had the pleasure to meet and work with thus far all have the best interest of students at the core of their actions. SAU #46 (Andover and MV) is truly a special place.

A quick introduction for those who do not know me. This year marks my 21st in education. From 1996-2007, I was a teacher, coach, and Area Coordinator at Merrimack Valley High School (Computer and Business Education). From 2007-2014, I held two administrative posts (Dean of Academics at Alvirne High School and Assistant Superintendent of Schools at the Kearsarge Regional School District). I will strive to bring a collaborative, enthusiastic, and technology-focused leadership style to my superintendency.

I am a husband and proud father of two great children (Olivia and Camden). Both of my children were born during my MVHS teaching career. In fact, Camden's name means "from the winding valley." This definitely influenced the title of this blog!

I pride myself on my open communication and receptivity to feedback. I look forward to serving the students, families, teachers, staff, and communities of SAU #46. I am confident that together we can continue to innovate and move the District in a positive direction.
